Article: Year end 2025

Year end 2025

couple in Oxford, UK.

It’s New Year’s Eve, and our boys have already decided that staying up until midnight isn’t going to happen. Instead of a countdown, I’m sat here in a quiet house with a crispy Diet Coke and a quiet moment all to myself. It feels like a good time to jot down a thank you for the year we’ve had, and honestly, reflecting on it all has brought a lump to my throat.

Three years ago tonight, Sam and I were packing up our cases in preparation to source our very first container. We had two babies in tow and were about to spend all of our savings (yes, all) on dusty old furniture. Without a backup plan or social media following, we bet on ourselves big time. That just might be my favorite version of us yet.

This year was jam packed in the best type of way. Full of work, momentum, clarity and gratitude. It both stretched us and carried us forward in ways we never could have predicted.

Design
This year, we said yes to more design projects! As demand for our interior work continues to grow, we have plans to expand our team in 2026. This shift will allow us to keep creating English-inspired, colorful, pattern-heavy spaces—without compromising the character and charm that define our work.

Antique buying trips
We hosted three antique buying trips in England, each grounded in the same purpose: sourcing pieces with a story while connecting with others who share that passion. Wandering through workshops, barns and showrooms never loses its magic, but this year felt especially meaningful as we invited others into the process with us. Sharing the behind-the-scenes moments—the early mornings and the thrill of finding something incredible—made these trips feel less like work and more like community. With 2026 summer trips full, we’re anticipating the October trip won’t last long (opens jan 6)..

Antiques
Over the course of the year, we imported more than 1,000 pieces of our own stock—an accomplishment that still feels surreal when we pause to take it in. The logistics weren’t easy, but the reward of seeing these pieces settle into new homes for their next chapter was really special.

Behind the scenes, this year required significant trust in the long view. Importing at this scale meant we needed to be willing to grow beyond what once felt comfortable. There were many moments that tested us—but also steady progress that reminded us of our “why”.

Thank you for being here and for following along
Whether you’ve been part of this journey from the off or just recently found your way here. Your friendship, encouragement, and shared love for antiques and interiors mean more than we can say. We’re so grateful to have you all in our corner and we can’t wait to tell you all about our plans for 2026. It’s going to be a big year.

Here we go!

xx
