Antique pine sideboard with 7 drawers

Seven drawers wrap around a small cupboard in the middle of this sideboard. A short drawer sits above the cupboard door, and the door's panel has a sweet scalloped detail at the top. Three drawers run down each side. Every drawer has a round wooden knob and most have a small keyhole. The top overhangs a little at the front and sides, and the whole piece stands on short turned feet.

The pine is a warm golden color with plenty of knots and grain. There are scuffs and dings along the drawer fronts and feet, the kind of marks that come from busy kitchens and family meals. It gives the piece a relaxed, unfussy charm. It's a great size for a dining room buffet, and it would also look at home in a farmhouse kitchen as extra storage for pots and pans.
