English country antique pine kitchen dresser

This antique English country pine kitchen dresser is a real statement at over eight feet wide. Up top, a tall paneled cupboard stands at each end and open shelves sit between them against a plank back. Small drawers tuck in beneath both cupboards and a shaped shelf frames a little open nook in the middle. The lower half has a long counter with four drawers running across it, while four paneled cupboard doors sit below on a sturdy base. Every drawer and door has a simple wooden knob, and several have small keyholes.

The counter and lower doors show scuffs, stains and worn edges, especially down near the floor. You can see where generations of cooks have worked at it. It would make a wonderful centerpiece in a big farmhouse kitchen, and it would also be a fantastic piece for storage along a dining room or great room wall.
