French oak display cupboard

This antique French cupboard stands in two parts, with glazed doors above and paneled doors below. The upper doors are split into small panes and open onto wooden shelves, and a key still sits in the lock. A stepped molding marks the join between the halves. The lower cupboard has a shelf over a deep open floor, and its sides are paneled to match the doors.

The oak has a warm amber tone with plenty of grain showing, and it looks clean and well kept. The old glass carries a few faint marks from a long life holding things on show. It would suit a dining room for china and glassware, or a hallway that needs some height.
