Large pine farmhouse coffee table

This coffee table has a pale, sun-bleached look. Its top is made of wide planks that sit just over a deep frame. A drawer at one end has a dark iron pull, and the table stands on four sturdy turned legs.

The top has darker patches, open gaps between the boards and softly rounded edges. Those marks come from a life spent in a busy country house. The frame and legs show plenty of knots and grain, and the whole piece looks easy and unfussy. At 60" long it's a generous size to place in front of a sofa, with lots of room for books, candles and a cup of tea, and the drawer is handy for keeping coasters out of sight.
