Mellow antique English pine drawers

This mellow antique English pine chest of drawers has been warmed to a lovely honey tone by years of use and wax. Two short drawers sit over three long ones and every drawer has turned wooden knobs and a small keyhole. It has a softly moulded top and stands on sturdy turned bun feet.

Knots and grain run through the drawer fronts alongside gentle wear from its working life. You can't rush that kind of mellow color. It makes a great bedroom dresser but would look just as at home in a hallway or cottage kitchen.
