Monumental English pine kitchen dresser with brass pulls and a rounded base
Nearly eight feet wide, over seven feet tall — it fills a wall the way only a piece of this age and scale can. 19th century English pine, two parts, the lower section fitted with drawers and cupboard storage behind original brass pulls, the upper section open shelving under a gently projecting cornice. The rounded base is what sets it apart — softer than the typical square-cornered dresser, more considered, more furniture and less fixture.
The pine throughout has the kind of patina that takes a century to develop. Warm, mellow, with the tonal variation that comes from years of a kitchen being lived in around it. It doesn't look restored because it isn't. It looks exactly like what it is.
Storage for everything. Display space for what you want on show. A piece that makes a kitchen feel like it has always been there.
