Painted French antique cupboard

This low French cupboard is painted a soft, pale tan that reads slightly peach. Two drawers with dark metal cup pulls sit across the top, and below them are two doors with raised panels and small keyholes. The base is cut into curved, bracket-style feet at the front and sides, and the top has a slightly rounded edge.

The paint has rubbed back and chipped here and there, with a patch of old repair near the bottom of the right door, so the cupboard looks as though it has been well used in a farmhouse pantry. At just over thirty inches tall it works as a sideboard in a dining room, a kitchen storage piece or a console in an entryway.
