Pine table or desk with turned legs

This little writing table is simple and neat. A thin top with a softly rounded edge overhangs a plain frame. It stands on four tall turned legs, and each one has rings and bulbs along its length before it tapers down to a slim foot. The wood has a warm golden tone, with lovely grain running along the sides of the frame.

The top has darkened a little, and the legs show small knocks and lighter patches at the feet from being nudged by chairs and shoes over the decades. Its compact size makes it a great desk for a bedroom or guest room. It would also work well as a slim console in a hallway, holding a lamp and a stack of books.
