Scalloped antique English pine drawers

This dresser has a pale honey tone and plenty of grain showing across the drawer fronts. Two short drawers sit above three long ones, and each has a round wooden knob. The long drawers also have small keyholes. The top has a softly moulded edge, and below the bottom drawer a scalloped shape curves between chunky turned feet.

Knots run through the pine, along with the soft marks of a long life in a Victorian bedroom. It’s a good height for a bedroom, but it would work just as well in a hallway or a guest room.
