Small round pine coffee table with lower shelf

This antique pine coffee table has deepened to a rich honey-brown that looks lovely in the light. The top has gently rounded ends and overhangs the frame, and a single drawer sits on one long side with a small wooden knob. It stands on four chunky turned legs that end in square blocks at the bottom. Those blocks hold a low shelf made from wide pine planks.

Dents, scuffs and darker patches show across the top and legs. It has the kind of patina that takes decades to build. It’s a touch taller than most coffee tables, which makes it a great side table next to a sofa or armchair, but it would work just as well as a bedside table in a guest room.
