Vintage hand broom

This little vintage hand broom has a silver metal cap at the top and a large ring for hanging it on a hook. Fine gray wire is wound tightly down the handle. Below it, the bristles open out in a lovely russet color. Two rows of orange stitching run across them to keep them in shape.

It fits neatly in the hand. A few bristles have worked loose and the tips are a little uneven, but it's in good shape. Use it to brush off a desk or workbench, or hang it on a peg as a small bit of color in a mudroom or kitchen.
