Vintage hand brush

This vintage hand brush has a long wooden back that's scuffed and smoothed from years of being picked up and put down. Rows of tufts run along one side, and the dark bristles are still thick and soft. The handle was painted mustard yellow, and the paint has worn away in patches where hands have gripped it. There's a small hole at the end for hanging it from a nail or hook.

It's a classic counter brush and still does its job well, sweeping crumbs off a table or sawdust from a workbench. It also looks good hung on a peg or left out on an open kitchen shelf.
