Vintage oil on board

This vintage oil on board landscape shows a cottage with a dark roof half hidden in a golden field, while hazy blue-green hills roll away behind it. Big white clouds fill most of the sky and the paint there is laid on thick enough that you can see every brushstroke. Leafy green bushes climb the slope on the left and pull your eye down into the scene.

The board is unframed and has a few tiny tack holes and small chips of paint around the corners. It has clearly been well loved. It would look lovely propped on a shelf or kitchen counter but would hold its own just as well in a gallery wall.
